General Meeting1 - Fall 2009

The first general meeting of the fall semester '09 kicked off well.The meeting includes talks and graduate panel discussion on "Graduate life, education and careers". Our invited panelists are:
Dr. Venkat Allada, Vice Provost for Graduate Studies (and Advisor for Council of Graduate Students)
Dr. Krishnamurthy, Vice Provost for Research
Dr. Robert Schwartz, Vice Provost of Academic Affairs
This meeting has been a very good opportunity for graduate students to interact with our honored Vice Provosts and share their viewpoints on 'graduate education and opportunities, especially at Missouri S&T'. Following that various questions were aksed by the audience and the cgs members for which the panelistsresponsed patiently and has given good answeres to those questions. After this session, CGS President Ravi Akella gave updates of CGS activities and made a call for the new representatives.
