It is my pleasure to welcome you to the UMR community. We offer a broad range of world-class graduate programs including 25 different masters programs and 20 different doctoral programs. My office is committed to providing a quality graduate educational experience at all levels. We cater to diverse graduate education needs ranging from on-campus programs to off-campus and distance learning programs. Over 1300 students are enrolled in our graduate certificate, masters and doctoral programs.

As one of the top public research universities, UMR is known for excellence in education and research, both nationally and internationally. We are growing our graduate education programs in lockstep with our research programs. At UMR, we have a diverse community that includes students from more than 41 countries around the world. UMR faculty includes internationally recognized researchers, scholars, and teachers. The research facilities at UMR rank among the best in the United States. Faculty and students at UMR are involved in pursuing cutting-edge research. If you are a prospective student, I encourage you to explore the various program sites and contact the chair(s) or the graduate coordinator(s) of any graduate program that interests you.
