Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE NNSA SSGF)11/01/07

This fellowship supports graduate students planning full-time study for a Ph.D. in areas of interest to stewardship science areas such as

  • High-energy density physics
  • Low-energy nuclear science or
  • Properties of materials under extreme conditions
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens.

Budget and Student Fee Approval Process Changing
10/09/07

The Council of Graduate Students has recently changed the budget and student fee approval process. The budget will now be approved internally through CGS, but before the council can approve anything an open forum will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 5:00pm in Butler Carlton room 120 to discuss the proposed budget and fee. Please view the attached spreadsheet containing the proposed budget along with several past approved budgets before attending the forum; any questions or issues will be addressed at that time.

Graduate Student Show Case
05/04/07

The Council of Graduate Students (CGS) conducted graduate showcase on April 4, 2007. About fifty graduate students showcased their research through poster presentations. The event was a judged poster competition open to all graduate students with a total prize pool of eleven hundred dollars in cash and prizes. Read more about it at TheMissouriMiner.com
